Hot beach days, quality hangs with family and friends, watermelon eating, new place visiting in Massachusetts and beyond and of course, doing my A.MARFS markets & meeting new peeps!
Life is good.
PLUS, a few weeks ago my comedy buddy/real life bestie, Jonathan Kaplan came to visit for a strictly play-time visit.
Since 2015, the only time Jonathan and I would get together was to work on our web-seriesMares & Kaps. But since we are currently on a much needed creative hiatus, this time we could just chill.
And by chill, I mean draw, paint, laugh and play.

Jonathan got into 'plein air' painting (or 'plarting' as I like to call it) just as I began exploring with my digital tablet in 2021.
Before the digi tablet...
Before the digi tablet, a Sharpie or a Pilot Precise V5 Rollerball black pen was my favorite instrument for drawing. There's nothing like a sharp pen pulling ink across a dense and textured piece of paper. Yes!
While Jonathan plarted, I sketched my simple landscapes on watercolor paper.

All this to say...
I will be offering these new 'A.MARFS Minis!' landscape drawings at my next shows.
Each drawing is a signed, one of a kind, original piece, roughly 2x3 in size and matted on a 4.25 x 5.5 card.
I will also be sharing a few watercolor 'A.MARFS Water Minis' that are slightly larger in size and also matted.
